The Semos Process is what makes us stand out from the crowd.

This is what we pledge: we would never return anything that we felt could be improved upon.

How can we guarantee this?

Simple: every piece of work will involve several consultants, all of whom collaborate on the piece of work until all agree that the job is done. This is what we call the Semos Process.

Everything we are given to translate, write and edit, will be subjected to the Semos Process. The Semos Process ensures maximum levels of quality assurance.

The Semos Process in action:

Job type: Translation

1. Client commissions Semos - text received by Project Manager.

2. Project Manager appoints translator, editorial (terminological) consultant, and proof-reader (more than one translator and/or terminological consultant will often be engaged in the case of very long texts or texts encompassing a number of different specialisms - in such cases, the proof-reader ensures stylistic continuity)

3. Text translated (the translator may consult the editorial consultant on specialist terminological and purely linguistic issues throughout)

4. Translated text passed to proofreader (the editor may consult the translator and editorial consultant)

6. Proof-read text passed to Project Manager

7. Text returned to client

All consultants assigned to a project may consult the Project Manager, who in turn will refer any queries he/she is unable to resolve to the client.
